SEL (Social Emotional Learning) Part 1 & 2

Led by Danielle Brunson, these modules explore SEL concepts and their application for youth and adults.

Your Instructor: Danielle Brunson

Danielle brings decades of experience in education and wellness:

  • Extensive background in public and private education
  • Leader in online program design and development
  • Over 500 hours of yoga certification, including trauma-informed and somatic practices
  • Two-year study in the MMTCP program with global mindfulness leaders
  • MBSR level 1 training 

What you’ll learn

A focus on adult and youth social emotional learning 

  • Learn the CASEL framework and how to apply the national standards to your work with youth and adults 
  • How to weave realtionship skills, responsible decision making, self-management, social-awareness and self-awarness into professional development, workshops and movement classes
  • How to use data in SEL work
  • Actionable plans and outlines to create adult workshops 
  • Review of the nervous system and how to teach busy professionals regulation 
  • Somatic practices for down and up regulating 

 

Note- this course is broken into two sections delivered at two different times.
